Yamunotri

Yamunotri

Yamunotri is one of the four sacred pilgrimage sites in the Char Dham Yatra. It is considered the main source of the Yamuna River. The trip is not just physical but also spiritual, as pilgrims seek blessings and purify themselves in the icy waters of the Yamuna.

Gangotri

Gangotri, at an altitude of 3,100m in the Uttarkashi district, symbolizes the source of the Ganges River. The Goddess Ganga temple is a holy spot where devotees pray and perform rituals to purify themselves of their sins. The gorgeous surroundings enhance the spiritual atmosphere, making it a peaceful pilgrimage site.

Gangotri Dham

Kedarnath

Kedarnath is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of lord Shiva and it has a significant role in Hindu mythology. The temple devoted to Lord Shiva is situated at an elevation of 3,583m along the Mandakini River and is surrounded by amazing views of snow-capped hills. Despite its distant position, devotees face harsh weather to seek the blessings of Lord Kedarnath.

Badrinath

Badrinath, nested in the Chamoli area, is a Char Dham and devoted to Lord Vishnu. It is thought to be the home of Lord Vishnu in his Badri incarnation. The temple, located between the Nar and Narayan peaks, draws devotees seeking spiritual enlightenment and escape from the cycle of life and death.
